Dear Ann, Aurele and I were very sorry to recently hear of Jean’s passing. Jean was a lovely, talented person and a joy to be around. You both were fortunate to have had many good times together. Dear Ann, I heard a couple of days ago that Jean had passed away. My sympathies for the loss of your dear companion. My best memories of Jean are her absolutely contagious laugh and her joie de vivre. It was always a joy to catch up with you two at a craft event and share a lively conversation. Hello Ann, I heard today that Jean passed away in September and was really sorry that I hadn't made an effort to be more in touch with her. She had a great sense of humour and a real talent for weaving. I remember her spinning wool overnight so that she could weave a scarf and have it entered into a show at the SCC the next day, we all thought she'd never get it done - but she did.

I had the great pleasure of knowing Jean when she was on the Last Mountain Seniors Education Commitee in the Nokomis, Govan, Semans area. She had great thirst for learning and enjoyed bringing classes to older adults in this rural area. She had a great sense of humour, and a passion for everthing she put her mind to. Even though we lost touch over the years, I will miss knowing that Jean is on this earth. Condolences to Ann, friends and other family members. Diane
