Dear Doering Family,
We are so sad and so sorry to hear of Fran's passing. We did not know Fran well, but we had the privilege of meeting her on a short trip to Regina in 2016. We will always remember her as a friendly and formidable woman. She had a warmth and a light which shone from her, and a smile that could not be forgotten. Our warmest thoughts and deepest sympathies are with you during this time of loss.
Best Wishes to all of you.

Keith, Kim, Chris, Kari and families,
It is with great sadness that I heard of Fran's death. Hers was an indomitable spirit and her courage and optimism will be sorely missed. I shall treasure the renewal of an old friendship that has taken place over the last couple of years. Every time I pass a Burger's Priest restaurant or see a pink French merengue, I think of you and Fran, Keith, and a great day together. Although unable to attend in person, my prayers and thoughts shall be with you today as you celebrate Fran's life, well lived.

I met Fran several years ago through our church when I was a young newlywed with no family nearby. She was always very good to my husband and I. I often still talk about the day she invited me over to their house to teach me how to preserve the apples from our tree. She was a kind lady. My condolences to the entire family.
