On behalf of St. Matthew's congregation, our condolences to Florence's family on their loss. Her picture truly captures her personality - always busy, always trying something new, always a big smile on her face for everyone! She loved to sing and was an active member of our church choir. Florence always found time to give a hand when someone needed help. Her love of family was always top of mind with Florence. I was also privileged to know and work with her as she started out her career in cooking at the YWCA. I recall the young women in residence, the program folks and of course the staff enjoyed many a fine meal prepared by Florence's hands! She left her positive mark on many!
