Obituary of Florence Irene White

June 29, 1929 – June 17, 2018

Florence passed away peacefully with her family and special friend Otto by her side, on Sunday, June 17, 2018. She was predeceased by her husband Earnest; son Garry; and several family members. Florence is remembered by her daughter Iris (Brian de Jong) of Balgonie; son Danny (Rhonda) of Regina; daughter Betty (Dwight Rader) of Regina; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brothers, Stan (Carol) and Don (Marg); sisters, Jean, Dorothy, Marg, and Blanche; as well as several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, nieces, and nephews. Florence especially loved and cherished her grandchildren and great-grandchildren dearly. She led an active life with knitting, quilting, singing, bowling, dancing, and playing cards. Memorial Service will be held at St. Matthew’s Anglican Church, 2161 Winnipeg Street, Regina, SK on Friday, June 22, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, if so desired, contributions may be made to Regina Wascana Grace Hospice, 50 Angus Road, Regina, SK S4R 8P6.
