On behalf of mom and dad and our family, I'm sending you our sympathies. It isn't easy saying good-bye and letting them go, but no doubt the shenanigans have begun upstairs. One of my favourite memories is sneaking down the stairs when our parents visited/played cards and listening to all their stories, and there were quite a few over the years weren't there! Uncle Gerry was lucky to have his family help him and be at his side and no doubt your presence offered him peace and dignity. One thing we noticed in your album of photos Joanne, is your dad almost always had a smile!!!
Our folks were in-laws and friends for a long time & they wish him peace and eternal happiness, they went through a lot but had quite a few laughs along the way, which made those tough years manageable...there was an especially memorable prank involving a mad bull!!!!
Love Victor, Monique, Jacqueline & Brad

Dad, in your 92 years of wisdom, you will always be my hero, my best friend. There are not enough words to express my gratitude and devotion to you. Dad had no enemies on this planet and will be eternally loved and missed by all who knew him.
With so much love and pride, I salute you, Dad. Thank you for your guidance, unconditional love and continual support all these years. I miss you so much. This is not 'goodbye', but only 'see you later'.

Gerry was a big part of our family for the past thirty years. When mom and dad moved back to Wolseley in 1987 to be close to friends and family, suddenly our dad passed away too early. It was Gerry who reignited his longtime friendship with Margie. This friendship started many years back when they were still teenagers in Wolseley and would not cease until the end. It really was a wonderful story as they were always there for each other to get together for drives through the countryside and visits most weekends from Regina. When Gerry would head home Mom would always insist that he call her to make sure he arrived home safely. They laughed and carried on like they knew each other as only close friends can. That genuine care for each other became the essence of the special bond they shared.
We thank you Gerry for being the special person you were. You are loved and will be missed dearly.
