I worked with Mary for many years at Veterans Affairs. She was always kind and considerate to everyone. She cared deeply for her family.

Mary was a great friend to my family over the years we've come to know her. She was so kind. I never heard her make negative comments about anyone. She always seemed to see the best in people and in her life. Even in her last year, when she was mostly bed ridden, she would still be cheery when we visited her and seemed to enjoy her life. She was an inspiration to me.
And I have kept the smoking dresses she made to my daughters. They were works of art. When I look at them, they remind me of Mary and her positive attitude. I
will miss her.

Mary was my mother's best friend. My mother, Lois Wright, and Mary, and Betty Lou Courage (Armstrong) moved to Winnipeg to work as secretaries after many years as fast friends at Lakeview School and Central Collegiate. Later, when our family moved to Regina, Mary became like a grandma to my kids, especially our girls Leilani and Angela. Mary was the most positive person I've ever met. We loved her and Sylvie and I and the kids will miss her. She is in a better place. Rob Wright
