Sorry to hear of your mom's passing.
Many fond memories of "Ma" Schwann at the Pasqua Lake cottage and the old Bole Place days.
She also got me my personalized plate I believe when she was with SGI.
A very special lady.
Condolences to all the family.
Sincerely
Andrew Hosie

I played football at Miller High School in the fall of 1970 and 1971. Dr. Schwann was our team doctor. In September 1971, Dr. Schwann and Mrs. Schwann hosted our football team at their cottage at Pasqua Lake. In the early evening, a boat full of our football players capsized during a storm. They were rescued by the RCMP. The experience bonded our team. We won the city and provincial championship that year. Last August, Mrs. Schwann attended the football team reunion in Regina. With tears in my mind, I thanked her once again for that memorable day at her cottage and the support received by Dr. and Mrs. Schwann. Your mother was a special woman. My sincere condolences on her passing. She is now resting in peace with her beloved husband.

Paula, Pam, Lisa and families:
My deepest condolences on the loss of your mom. She was an extraordinary woman who helped start my career ( and that of many, many others too!) at SGI. She was a beautiful soul with very high standards for herself and for those around her. She made you want to exceed those standards and never want to disappoint her. She was very fair and inspired a fierce loyalty and admiration from her staff over the years.
I will always remembers her for her kind, gentle, and incredibly strong spirit, her career advice, and her generous nature. I loved talking football and dogs with her outside of work. She sure loved her Riders!
She will live on in her legacy of family, friends, and the many lives she touched is her various jobs and volunteer activities.
Thanks Phyl for all you did for me and for so many!

By far the most amazing woman that I have had the pleasure to meet and share time with. Her legacy continues with her 3 class act daughters, and the many, many, more whom are so much the better for knowing her. A light that will never stop shining on all.

Paula, Dave and family…
What a beautiful tribute to your mom. You are right, she is with your dad soaring now. Your mom was so vibrant and did so much for so many. I remember when she presented my brother with a football award at Leboldus High School in his graduating year. She has a beautiful family that carry her legacy of giving and being involved in the community.
We are so sorry for your loss, but know she is in a beautiful place with your dad!
You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.
Love Brenda, Vern, Matt and Drew

Phyllis and her daughters were the closest of my aunts and cousins. Including at end of my Mom's life, which was one of my last trips to Regina. My heartfelt condolences. I wish that I could have made this trip.

Velma and I would like to extend a word of condolence to the family of Phyllis Schwann. She was a great person with all the attributes of a fine lady. Loyalty would be one of those attributes. She was loyal to her Paul, her family and friends and to the larger community. I worked with her on the Good Neighbour Fund where she displayed a concern for the poor and troubled. Phyllis didn't do anything half hearted and you could rely on her to be there when you needed her. We are all poorer by her passing but we were enriched while she was with us. God love her as I'm sure he does.
