Our deepest condolences to all. Uncle Edwin was very kind, humble and attentive.
His concern for others was palpable. It was so much fun to visit their farm when we were children and play ball with Ken and Neil and chat with my aunt and uncle. My mom and dad were also very fond of Aunt Jean and Uncle Edwin. His professional attendance at many of our departed relatives funerals was always reassuring. He was a genuinely dear man and he will be sorely missed by all that knew him but we all know that he is already very welcome in Heaven!

So very few people have I known who showed the humility, gentleness, kindness and integrity as did Edwin. I was just a kid when I was first introduced to him through our work in funeral service and he quickly established himself as one of my early mentors and special persons in my life. It was a privilege to have had the opportunity to work along side him for so many years and to get to know him as more than just a work associate. He was a loyal and trusted friend who I will dearly miss and remember always with great fondness, admiration and much respect. My sincerest condolences go out to Jean, Ken and Neil and their family, who like Edwin, always went out of their way to welcome me as one of their own.

My old friend from days gone by. Edwin was a kind caring man. All those years ago when we worked together at the funeral home in Cupar we shared many good memories together. Edwin helped in establishing our branch there and was always ready to help, especially ready to help the families we served. The community will miss him.
