It was a privilege to work with Jen when she took on the role of publicist for my CD Release in 2016, when she was already living with the reality of her diagnosis. Her efficiency, attention to detail, creativity and encouragement demonstrated her passion for her work, and her generous heart, in addition to her incredible courage and tenacity.

It saddens me deeply to hear the passing of sweet Jennifer. Syd, Shirley and Janelle, I love you all so much and I am thinking and praying for you! I will never forget the Morris Crescent family, and how much fun we had. When I think of Jennifer I remember how sassy but also how loving she was. I first met Jen when she was a student in my Film courses at the University of Regina, but over the past 10 years I learned more from Jen than she ever learned from me. She loved to share the things she loved: music, films, books, ideas. Running into Jen made any day better. Through the past couple years, Jen shared so much about her life, and what she was facing, and she did it with courage, and strength, and honesty, and she found moments of joy and shared those with us too. She is a great teacher. My deepest condolences to Jen's family and friends.
