Ted and I were friends and colleagues for forty years and I was greatly saddened to hear of his passing. Ted was a good husband, a good father and a good friend and I will miss him dearly. I am out of the country until April and will not be able to attend his funeral but I send my heartfelt condolences to the family.

Ted has been a respected member of Flowing Springs Golf Green for many years. Ted left everyone who had the pleasure of his company for a round of golf or a cup of coffee with a warm tender feeling. His fellow members and the staff of the course always viewed Ted as a class act. As an example after achieving a rare hole in one, for any golfer, Ted stayed in the clubhouse until each and every one of his fellow members came in after their round of golf, where Ted was waiting, so he could buy them a round from the bar. Ted not only enjoyed his fellow golf partners they enjoyed Teds upbeat attitude. I will always remember, even when he was challenged by a variety of health concerns, Teds outlook and attitude, his friendliness to those he encountered at the course and his love for all. Those that had the opportunity to know Ted will miss him dearly.

I have know Ted for close to 20 years. Ted was a valued member of the wascana archers. You could find him at the outdoor range during our events checking score card math, running the registration table and helping any place he could. He loved the fact archers had dreams and were excelling spreading the name of the club and the reach of the sport. He was a great member and even better man. He will be missed. Our shoots will not be the same. Condolences to the family.
Respectfully

I knew Ted from the many years we both worked at SaskPower. Ted was quiet but I sure do recall having some nice conversations with a very nice man and I do recall that when he laughed I always found it was the sort of laugh that made me want to join in. My condolences to the Rutkowski family. Ted was truly one of the good ones!
