Hi, this is Lorna Grout, previously Lorna Robinson. My cousin in Regina forwarded Cindy's obituary to me, since I have moved and remarried and live in Wilkie, SK with my husband Rob, a Lutheran pastor. I am terribly shocked and deeply saddened to hear of her death. Although it has been a lot of years since I shared in Cindy's world, as a friend, I have very fond memories of her upbeat and loving personality and sense of humour. I too shared her great love of cats. I had forgotten about her excellent skills as a flute player, but the memories are coming back. So are the memories of "Greek Night" and sitting around the table with Cindy, Doug, Jim and Brenda, and drinking that odd Greek wine. Doug, your marriage and time together was so perfectly matched and blessed. I will keep you and family in my prayers for comfort in this huge loss, of the absolute love of your life. May God grant you strength and hope to push forward.
