Dear Pat and family,
I am heartbroken for you all. Garry was such a great guy and my last memory of him was Dysart Homecoming in 2009. We took mom there for the weekend and we stayed in the campground at the school. As "we" were backing it in.....Garry was there, not with advice, but with a big grin on his face just watching the show. Of course I have so many memories of our growing up right across the street from the Zatylny family - my second home really. I just cannot put into words what they all meant to me throughout my growing up years, especially the teenage years. To have another brother gone .... Joe and Vera are very busy up there right now keeping everyone in line - especially Vera. We are sending prayers and hugs to everyone as you remember Garry as each day goes by without him.

I am sorry to hear of you loss. Sympathy to the Zatylny family.
I know it has been years since we last saw a huge other. In fact I think when I saw Joe when he was in training for RCMP Around the time my husband was.
I remember the one and only time I got sent out of room in school was Garry throwing an eraser at me . At that time the old tax on the seat was also popular so I ran over and put one down. Garry sat down and wouldn't you know it, he sat on his wallet, didn't even feel it. I mustered up all the rest of my courage and threw the eraser back....just as the teacher walked in.
I was never so scared in my life as to have to sit in the hall. No on could believe I was sent out.
So in the way home from school I came up behind Garry and then him in a snow bank.
