RICHTER, Arlene Adeline

It is with great sadness that the family announces Arlene’s passing on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at the Regina Pasqua Hospital, at the age of 85 years. Arlene was born on a farm near Spalding, SK on January 7, 1934. She was predeceased by parents, Dominic and Ethel Thera, by her husband Fred, and brothers Richard and John. Arlene is survived by her daughter Cheryl Morse (Dennis), grandson Shawn (Rhonda), great-granddaughters, Mya and Alexa, granddaughter Celeste (Marc), great-grandchildren, Isabella and Ethan; daughter Charlene Jahraus (Bryan), grandson Christian (Kim), great-granddaughters, Jackie and Natalie, granddaughter Erin (Will), great-granddaughter Charlotte and great-grandson Hudson, granddaughter Danielle (Steve), great-grandson Grayson, and granddaughter Whitney (Brett); and son Todd (Kathy), granddaughter Ashley (Gael), and grandson Jordy (Aisha). She is also survived by her brother Eugene Thera (Lilian) and numerous nieces and nephews. Arlene will forever be remembered as a kind soul, who along with Fred, her loving husband of sixty-four years, touched countless lives. Thank you to the amazing staff at the Regina Pasqua Hospital 3A Palliative Care Unit for showing such tremendous compassion to Arlene in her final days. Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Peace, 425 Broad Street North, Regina, SK on Monday, April 1, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. with lunch to follow. Interment will be held in Disley Cemetery around 3:00 p.m. Those wishing to share in a celebration of Arlene’s life are welcome to join the family for supper at the Disley Community Hall following the interment. Flowers are respectfully declined. Donations in memory of Arlene may be made to a charity of your choice.
