I taught Rainie accounting. She was a great student. She did her work, asked questions in class, asked questions after class, and even came to me to ask questions about accounting even after she passed the class! She brought humour and a fun attitude to my class every day. The news of her loss made me very sad. I can’t believe it and I was and still am very sad to hear of this loss. My heart goes out to Rainie’s loved ones. She was truly a gem in the world and has left a positive impact in the world.

Sending condolences to all of Rainie's family and friends. Rainie was one of my students and became very dear to me. We stayed close through her high school years and I really loved her. She had so much potential and so much to offer. She worked so hard and had such a beautiful smile that lit up any space she was in. I reached out to her a couple of years ago on social media and we reconnected. I'm devastated that we never made the time to meet up in person. She was a special young woman with a huge heart and a very unique spirit. I will miss her until I see her again.

I only knew her a short period of time while working with her in the Co-op admin office, but it was enough time to get to know what a sweet, kind hearted, smart, goal driven, funny young lady that she was.
