Rainie-Rae Kahpeaysewat (Keewatin) late of Regina, Sask, passed away suddenly on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at the age of 24 years. Predeceased by her great grandparents Samuel and Alice Cappo, great-great grandparents Felix and Charlotte Sugar, and Bessie Keewatin; her Moshums, Brian Cappo, Darryl Cappo, Darcy Keewatin, Eugene Keewatin, Ian Keewatin. Kokums, Germaine Cappo, Janice Cappo, and Renette Keewatin; her uncle Darwin Cappo and aunt Colleen Cappo. She is survived by her mother Melinda Kahpeaysewat; siblings, Drayden, Keithen, Dylan, and Calista; grandparents Steve and Maxine Keewatin who she called mom and dad; her boyfriend Dimitrios Sioras; her Kokums Mindy Cappo, Joan Kaiswatum, and her great grandparents Ida Desjarlais, Ann Kaiswatum, Janice Morin and Gordon Desjarlais; her uncles, Jonah Keewatin, Marcus Kahpeaysewat, William Cappo, Christopher Cappo, Chance Cappo, Lance Cappo, and special uncle Clifford Dubois; her aunts, Stevie Keewatin (Lionel), Carly Keewatin (Tim), Jo Keewatin, Miranda Kaiswatum (Ryan), Lyndell Cappo (Clinton), Jennifer Cappo, Tristan Cappo, Brianna Cappo (Dallas); special cousin Phoenix Keewatin; special friend Rod; and numerous Keewatin and Cappo relatives and friends too numerous to mention. The Wake and Celebration of her Life will be held at Piapot First Nation Hall on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. Traditional Ceremony will take place at Piapot First Nation Hall on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at 9:00 a.m., with elders officiating, followed by burial at Muscowpetung cemetery with feast to follow at Piapot First Nation Hall.
