BLACKER, Philip

Philip, late of Regina, SK, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at the age of 71 years. He was predeceased by parents, Melvin and Gwyneth Blacker; and brother David (Jill) Blacker. Phil is survived by his spouse Lindsay; daughter Heather (Shane); grandson Tyler; sister Margaret (Ian) Gliddon; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He started work at the Steel Works in Wales and Mosaic Potash for 36 years. Phil most enjoyed fishing at the local trout pond, peacefully reading on his backyard swing, playing on his Ipad, as well as spending time with friends and family. A special thank you to Dr. De Witt and the staff at the Regina General Hospital. Memorial Service will take place at St. Paul’s Cathedral, 1861 McIntyre Street, Regina, SK on Friday, June 7, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Paul’s Cathedral Columbarium. Family and friends so wishing may make donations, in memoriam, to St. Paul’s Cathedral Building in Faith or the Regina General Hospital, 1440 14 Avenue, Regina, SK S4P 0W5.
