"Marion married a man with three young teenagers. She made a mighty effort to be a good stepmother, working hard to bring them up right. She did many supportive things for them and was quite physically active as well, canoeing, swimming, dancing, singing, skiing, etc. Marion had a good sense of humor and was a lot of fun. She lived a very full life with many friends and family members. She was beautiful but unpretentious. "Marion is fondly remembered and will be sorely missed."

Dear Chase Family,
It was with regret that I read the obituary of Marion Chase - an individual who made life in Regina much more pleasant for me through her many contributions. Her license plate exemplified her life - MC8 - and always made me smile. While Ruth has now passed on, the same sentiments would have applied to my wife and her enduring 45 year friendship with Marion. Please accept my sympathies at this time.

I was saddened to read of Marion’s passing. I remember her as a very friendly, outgoing, and lovely lady that I had the pleasure of meeting on several occasions but had not seen for the last few years. Our thoughts are with family members.

My thoughts go to the Chase family during this most difficult time. On occasion, Marion and I would wave to each other from the windows in my condo to hers in Marian Chateau.
Take care.
Sincerely,
Marge Badham

Dear Chase Family,
I was saddened to read of Marion’s passing and offer my condolences to the family.
I am reminded of the joy that my Mother Ruth Fraser enjoyed with her deep friendship with Marion and a group of women who shared their love of music and life through meeting through the Regina Symphony Women. They shared a friendship over more than 45 years.
I was privileged on several occasions to be welcomed to lunch or coffee with “the ladies”.
And I was so honored to join the conversation and witness their love for each other.
My Mother passed now three years ago. I envision the now growing group of these wonderful women who have passed, but who shared such kinship and who contributed to the community while sharing music, smiles and laughter, are now welcoming Marion to join them for coffee, music and friendship.
Thoughts and prayers for your family in the days ahead.
I know my Father Murray Fraser also shares his condolences.

Cathie...
The end is never really the end.
It is just a new beginning.
I hope you and your siblings take comfort in this.
I did not really know your mom, but you have always been a part of our surrogate family, so I extend warm hugs and condolences to you and your family. It is never easy to say goodbye to loved ones, no matter what the circumstances. I wish you happy memories and loving thoughts that will sustain you through this grieving time. Lots of love to you. Marion was a very valued member of 600 Wing of the Royal Canadian Air Force Association for many years. We will miss her dearly. She always spoke her mind and that was appreciated also. On behalf of her friends at 600 Wing I would like to offer our condolences to Tom and the entire family on her passing.
May all your wonderful memories of Marion sustain you throughout the coming days.

Dear Marion——- such a great gal. In the 50’s we both worked at the Clinic and became very good friends. Golfing, and a couple of trips to Minot and Minneapolis. Always lots of laughs. I would enjoy seeing her after her marrage occasionally but we kind of went our separate ways when I had my family. I would se e her at Symphony bridge where she was a volunteer and we’d have a little visit
Sending you my deepest sympathy. Lois MacKenzie

We were so sorry to hear about the passing of your mom. She was a special lady and raised very unique, creative, productive kids. No matter what your age when you loose your mom you still feel like that lost kid wandering around Woolco.

I was very sadden to read of the passing of Mrs. Chase in today’s LP. It was always a treat to see her approaching the AC counter at the airport with her warm smile. Not only did it mean cookies, which she often supplied the staff, but it also meant one was in for an interesting chat.
Her generous support to me when I dabbled in fundraising for the Arthritis Society is remembered and appreciated.
Sincere condolences to all her family at the passing of this lovely lady.
