Anita was very close to my grandmother, Eloise Johnson, and often called to check in on her. She always shared the story of their relationship while she lived in Barbados. It was always good to hear her voice on the other line though sometimes feeble. We last spoke to her on August 21, 2019 when she called to wish my grandmother a happy 100th birthday. She was very proud that she dahd reached that milestone.
Nita was a kindhearted, affable person whom we loved. We will miss hearing her voice especially this Christmas. On behalf of Marcia, Eloise and the rest of the family, we extend sincere condolences to the family.
