Obituary of Gwenyth "Anita" Virginia Walcott

Anita passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2019, in Regina, SK at the age of 68 years. She was predeceased by her parents, Virginia and Ephraim Walcott and sister Lela Ifill. Anita is survived by sisters, Sheila, Jean and Ruth; brother Frank and many nieces and nephews. She was born in Taitt’s Martin, St. James-Barbados on January 15, 1951. She received her schooling at St. Silas and Alexander schools. Anita worked as a payroll clerk at Nichols and Edgehill in Barbados and the Department of Finance with the Government of Saskatchewan. She loved to travel and listen to music. At Anita’s request, there will be no funeral service. Private Interment will be held in the St. James Cemetery in Barbados. Those so wishing, may make memorial donations in Anita’s name to the charity of your choice.
