I have had the pleasure of knowing George and Audrey for many years, since Jan and my brother Jared married in 1959, George was a true gentleman and his dry wit was one of the things that attracted many people to him. I remember having George and Audrey to ourselves several times during 1969-1970 when the four of us would go antique hunting, especially at Bing's antique store in Lumsden. My wife Phyllis and I remembered those fun times often in the ensuing years. They were such a hospitable and warm couple; When my son, Jonathan and I returned to Regina to to say our final goodbyes to Phyllis, George and Audrey were the ones who took care of us, hosting with lots of company and with each of them being there to share our memories and feelings; true friends for sure. A number of years ago, George, Audrey and Greg drove all the way from Toronto to Ottawa to visit me in hospital. That kindness meant so much to me. My sincere condolences go to dear Audrey, Susan Doug and Greg and all of the members of the family and to their friends during this difficult and emotional time. You all have so many wonderful memories of George to remember.

We are all very sad to loose such a special man. He was my brother in law, for many moons. Blessings on all of his family, especially Audrey!
He was also the one to "give me away" in our 1959 wedding at Knox Met.
Friends from Kipling have remained close over the years, going out for lunch and shooting the breeze...He has a beautiful family that will be very lonely with out him.
We are sorry we are unable to be with you for the funeral, but hopefully Speers can stream the event so we can watch at home.
All our Love
the Joynt clan: Jan, Jared, Kim & Bill Platis, Adam Beck, Jordan & Paulina Beck, Tim & Cindy Joynt,

George's gentle, welcoming smile spoke of serenity and quiet fortitude. He was an authentic listener, genuinely interested in even the smallest details of a conversation, a father, husband, grandfather, and great-grandfather to emulate.
Our deepest condolences to Audrey and the Taylor family.
Sincerely, Wayne and Joanne Schnurr
