My condolences to the family. I was Helen's immediate neighbour on 19th Avenue for a few years, and got to know her and Larry, and their dog, during their frequent visits. Elizabeth's devotion to her mother was evident in outings together for symphony concerts, church, and preparation for Helen's annual summer time trips to the cottage. After I moved to Quebec, Larry was a faithful correspondent in his meticulous and beautiful handwriting, exchanging annual greetings and family news. It was a pleasure to know her. I am forever grateful to the Kidd sisters for the token gift of one of Helen's tea cups which I cherish. Helen was such an impressive person, and seemingly held in high regard by her children and descendants whom I was lucky enough to meet.
