I just read of Ethel's passing, this evening. A long life, well lived. I have such fond memories of spending many happy times in their home, with my good pals, Nancy and Marion. It was such an idyllic time to be young in Canada, especially with devoted moms like Mrs. Deck who always made the neighborhood kids feel welcome. I will never forget her. Hugs to Nancy and Marion. PS, Your dad was a special person too, I remember him fondly as well. We also worked together many years later, at the federal government.
