I was shocked to open the Leader Post and find out about Eva's passing. Our memories are many and go back a long way. Her dad and my dad came from the same town in Belgium.Eva's mom and dad opened up their home for me, many years ago when I first lived in Radville. My family and I shared many meals at the Delanoy home. When we moved to Regina, It was Eva who extended a helping hand in caring for my son, who needed special medical attention. It was with the help from people like Eva that he was able to achieve the unexpected. Her smile always reached her eyes. She was one of those rare genuine people, who enriched the lives of others. For all of us who believe it is a consolation to know that her faith manifested in her actions has brought her to a better place. She is in our prayers.
I would like to extend our condolences on behalf of my family, to Ray, Robert, Judy, Adele, Danny and Larry.
