Dear Judy and Margaret's families.
It was good to see the video. Ann (and I) got to know Margaret through our stay as residents of Wascana Rehabilitation Centre and the mealtimes we shared at Unit 2-6, as well as the many events and concerts held in the Concourse.
We cherish her memory and kindness and wish to express our heartfelt condolences to you and Margaret's families.
Ann and Pieter Van Vliet.

Dear Brad, Judy and Cecil, Brent and Thea,
It was touching to follow the funeral last evening and it was obvious that the grandchildren and all were very saddened to say a final good-bye. The chaplain had kind things to say about Margaret, true too, and she will be missed by those she mingled with and those farther away too. Thanks each of you for your part and it was well done. Margaret did not have an easy life but it did not make her bitter or leave her complaining so it is lesson for us. Am hoping to come home later this year and will look forward to seeing you all. Brent has been good to visit Norway but not sure he has any upcoming appointments... Had a nice note from Kathy Bradford today...she and Margaret were pretty good friends...just this now with my condolences and love, Russell

I was truly sad to hear of Margaret’s passing. It was a privilege to get to know your mom over the past 20 years or so. I last saw her when I was home in 2019 and again was deeply touched by her fortitude and acceptance, as well as her sincere interest in others’ lives. With love, Anne Malcolm

Dear Judy, Brent and Bradley and Family, it was at the time of Lucien's passing that I became acquainted with your dear mother in Regina. The following years we enjoyed pleasant visits in person and were always amazed how clear and bright she was in her frail body. Thinking of you in your big loss of a mother on Mother's Day. With love and care, Jack Reddekopp

Dear Judy, Brent, and Bradley and extended family.
My heart goes out to you with the loss of your mom. I can see that your mom never lost that great smile for it is her smile that I will always remember about her. In my memory, she was always positive. Her loss will leave a hole which, based on experience, I know will eventually heal and leave only the best memories of her to be cherished.
You are all very much in my thoughts right now. Many hugs to you all.

I am extending my deepest sympathy to you Judy and the entire Jacob's family with your Mom's passing. It was a pleasure and honor for me to get to know your Mom while she lived @ Wascana and what a genuine and loving lady she was. I will always cherish the great visits we had together. She had this amazing ability about her that made a person feel like they were, @ that moment, the only person in her world.
Margaret had a beautiful interest in people, their stories, their lives, and loved to share a hearty laugh together. I appreciated her involvement and enthusiasm for our Recreation Therapy programs and she was a definite asset to the groups she was a part of. I will so miss her beautiful smile and big heart. I always said to her....."Margaret, some day I hope to be as nice as you!" Rest in peace Margaret. You are loved and will be missed.
Thinking and praying for all of you during this difficult time.
Sincerely,
Ev Rieder

Thinking of the Jacobs family at this time as you feel the loss of your Mother and Grandmother. I have appreciated knowing Margaret for several years now. After being away from Saskatchewan for a few years, it was a pleasure to visit Margaret in the Wascana Rehabilitation Centre a couple of times this past February. She was the same warm, uncomplaining person that I had remembered from past years. You will all be left with special memories. Dale Shultz

Judy, Brent, Brad & families,
Sincere condolences to you all as you say goodbye to your Mom and Grandma. Margaret was a genuinely kind person with the warmest of smiles and a thoughtful caring for others.
Great memories of visiting your home, playing games and mock weddings with dress-up clothes until it was late and we got to have some goodies your Mom had prepared.
Margaret was a special friend to our Mom. She always enjoyed their visits on the farm and their telephone visits in retirement.
Our thoughts are with you.
With deepest sympathy.
Marsha, Leila Sharolyn, Terrie and their families.

My sincere condolences to all of Margaret's family and her extended family--which could include everyone who had ever met her.
She was so warm and welcoming and always put your comfort and welfare ahead of her own. Whenever you asked her how she was, she always said "oh, I'm just fine!" no matter what kind of a day she was having.
I moved to Selo Gardens in 1995 and she was the first person to make me feel welcome. Over the years we spent a lot of time together--we shared Executive duties for the Seniors Club, participated in the painting classes and other activities. We even shared a trip to the Maritimes one fall when we heard about a seat sale and booked our tickets without thinking about it for very long. Her family were a bit dismayed but we were staying with my niece who was a nurse so that helped to make them more comfortable with the idea. We always enjoyed whatever we did together and I really missed her when she had to leave here and go to Wascana Rehabilitation Centre. This past fall I fell and broke my femur so spent three months in hospital and at William Booth Special Care Home. One very cold day in January, who should show up to visit me but Margaret! She said, "It has been so long since I have seen you." I can't really express how much I cared for her or how much I will miss her. She was an inspiration to us all.

Your Mother was a very special lady, always a smile, and always happy to visit, keenly interested in all the people she knew as well as those she knew about.
Your Mom was a good friend to me and I will surely miss her - already miss our Covid phone chats because it wasn’t possible to go to Wascana.

Margaret left a void at Selo Gardens when she had to leave. She set an example for all who knew her on how to cope with one's difficulties with patience, grace, and determination. We're grateful we had the chance to know her both as a resident and as a friend. May memories of your Mom and the love of family surround you and give you strength in the days ahead. Our sincerest condolences, Orest & Gwen Warnyca

It's sad to think of your Mom being gone....but on the other hand it is good to think of her suffering being over. She was so uncomplaining all thru the years despite constant pain. It is always hard to lose a mother and you will miss her a lot but you can be glad you were all so helpful and caring. I think of you with sympathy and love.
