It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Ethan Andrew Grabarczyk on Sunday, June 7, 2020. He will forever be loved and missed by his parents Basil and Andrea; sisters Hayley and Desana; grandparents Gayle Krattenthaler, John and Jean Grabarczyk and Don and Aggie Mazur; uncles and aunts, Maureen (Ryan, Rachelle, Mya), Yvonne and Gordon (Ashley, Amber), Chester and Carla (Eva, Cruz), Jeremy, Jennifer, Greg and Alana (Robin, Kaden, Michaela), Suzanne and Dave (Andrew, Tessa), Laura (Brooklyn, Charlotte), Deanna (Austin), Alan and Lindsay (Jackson), Allyson and Eric (Abby, Brooke) and numerous extended family as well as many friends, classmates, teachers and coaches.
We know Ethan is now with “Pops” his grandfather, Gordon Krattenthaler, and his Uncle Rod Grabarczyk in heaven.
Ethan was in Grade 11 at Miller High School. He was a gifted athlete with a profound love of all sports; especially basketball and football. Ethan’s passion was basketball. If there was an opportunity to dribble a ball Ethan would take it. He was a true friend to his friends, ready and willing at a moment’s notice to help them when needed. Ethan’s generous, loving nature, big smile, and wonderful sense of humour will be missed by all who knew him.
Our hearts are beyond broken. “Ethan, it was a privilege to have you in our lives and we will always love you. May you find peace in the arms of God and may we all find peace by being kind to each other.”
The Celebration of Ethan’s Life will be held at Living Hope Alliance Church, 3800 Green Falls Drive, Regina, SK, on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. This gathering will be held according to the public health restrictions at the time.
