Worked with Wes for many years & whether you agreed or disagreed with his opinions (as we know Wes was very adamant in all of his) he would always be smiling. I was one of the persons who was part of the coffee circle at the S. Albert A & W. I and friends met Wes and chatted with him on a regular basis and got to know him. Wes was quite a character/ a gentle soul and had quite a few strong opinions that he shared with us over the years. I made calls to Pasqua Hospital to say Hi and that we were thinking of him over the last number of weeks since his surgery. We are quite stunned to hear about his passing and feel quite sad for his family and relatives and many friends. We got to know him over a number of years and will remember our chats and visits and were privileged to know him ... he will be missed. Now we are thinking of Wesley's family and wish them strength during this sad time.

I have known Wes since he came into Denise's life. I had the honor of being bridesmaid at their wedding. Through the years Wes' love of family and country was paramount. He was a gentle man at his core. My sincere sympathy Denise, Morgan(Kelly) and Peyton.
